Yoni Alter Review
Yoni Alter work is very interesting he
shows us his point of view of the way he sees cities; he uses multi colours on
all of his work. I think that’s his own way to show what kind of person he is
and what his personality is like; his work is also very eye catching this will
grab people’s attention whilst travelling or anywhere else. Yoni uses very
obvious noticeable buildings this is interesting because people can see that
his work is different.
As you can see this picture on the left, he used very bright
colours and had used the outlines of the buildings he hasn’t really gone in
depth with the buildings structure, this is a nice way of putting his work it’s
sort of a clear way to see that the buildings represent each individual city.
Yoni Alter expresses his ideas and how, why he came up with these ideas on this
following site; http://www.printmag.com/color/famous-skylines-interpreted-with-art/
Yoni Alter draws skylines and they’re very
easy to recognise it’s a visual thing anyone could look at he has his own way
looking at buildings. In each of his images you can see the overlapping of each
buildings making it abstract, he has made it abstract because the outline of
each building is shown and that’s how you can see he has used an over lapping
skill and with using different colours of each building makes the picture as a
whole stand out.
Yoni
Alter speaks about his work and the prints he has made, he had become inspired
with the centre point of Hyde park where you can see the London eye and The
shard, he claimed that the “geometry was very interesting and I thought it
would be fun to play around with it” Yoni Alter has expressed this on the Creative
review website http://www.creativereview.co.uk/cr-blog/2014/april/yoni-alter.
